Patinated Copper Outdoor Sink
A personal detail in copper
A small workshop piece with a memory worked into the metal.
Made from leftover patinated copper for outside the workshop, this was a practical one-off made from material already to hand.
The embossed butterfly began as a drawing by Rob’s daughter on the back of the sheet, then was worked through by hand into the copper. It leaves a small piece of that moment permanently in the metal — something that brings the memory back every time the sink is used, and an example of how a child’s drawing, a mark or another personal detail can be built into a bespoke piece for years to come.
